How to Format Your Art

A hand-drawn collage of three illustrations; a portrait of a person, a landscape of hills, clouds and trees, a square image of two boxes.

Curating Images:

  1. Choose the orientation of your images - portrait, landscape, or square. You can choose the same orientation for all images or use a variety.

  2. Pick an aspect ratio for your images. A consistent aspect ratio can help create a more cohesive look, but consider what works best for showcasing your art. The most common ratios are 1:1, 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, and 16:9.

  3. Sequence your images. Think about how you want them to be displayed. What order do you want them in? Would you like your art shown one or multiple per row?
